Ciao! I’m Riccardo Fausti – Your Italian Language Coach
I’m a certified Italian teacher with over 6 years of experience helping learners from around the world speak Italian with confidence. Born and raised in Umbria, I bring authentic Italian language and culture into every lesson.
My Story
I was born and raised in Umbria and I’m a native Italian speaker. I studied Languages for Interpreters and Translators in Trieste (English, French, German, Serbian, and Croatian), spent two years in Germany on Erasmus, then completed a master’s in International Relations and a degree in Literature — which is where my interest in Italian history and culture comes from.
In 2020 I earned the DILS-PG (II level) certification to teach Italian as a foreign language, and I’ve been teaching professionally ever since. My students come from the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, the UK, Australia, and beyond — adults who love Italian culture and food, and want to speak the language with confidence. That same passion for Italian history and culture — and for teaching it — has led me to start creating content about Italy: videos, blog posts, and a podcast.
